OUR BEGINNINGS

 

Eastern VetPath began in 2011, when a group of veterinary pathologists formed a relationship as independent contractors with an established human dermatopathology laboratory, KDL Pathology.  The affiliation made immediate sense logistically.  An excellent laboratory infrastructure – meeting the standards for College of American Pathologists accreditation – was already in place. In late 2014, KDL VetPath LLC formally became its own entity. In December of 2015, we changed our name to Eastern VetPath to reflect the region we are so honored to serve.

 

Infrastructure is important, but the main reason Eastern VetPath has flourished is our commitment to quality and highly personalized service to our clients.   We have grown by providing responsive, high-quality service to veterinary specialists and general practitioners throughout the eastern USA.

The end product we provide to our clients – a written report consisting of description and interpretation by a specialist in veterinary pathology – is similar to what our competitors offer.

  • All Eastern VetPath pathologists are board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP).
  • Clients have direct access to pathologists by phone/email/text.  The pathologist’s name, email address, and cell phone number are at the bottom of every report. If you have a question, we want to hear from you.
  • No lock-in contracts, gimmicks, or phone trees.  The listed price is the price for all our clients.
  • We are accountable.  If you ever experience a problem with Eastern VetPath, large or small, we want to know about it – and we will address it quickly, resolve it as effectively as possible, and provide a straightforward explanation.
