I have been an oncologist for 13 years and Eastern VetPath provides me everything I need from a pathology service. They provide mailing labels which makes sending off samples quick and efficient, their turn-around time is the fastest in the business and their reports are highly detailed providing additional images and pertinent references. This is not a cut and paste pathology service, whereby the literature referenced is generally specific for that case. Their cytology and pathology reports are incredibly detailed providing all the information for the clinician to provide necessary therapeutic options. The clinical and anatomic pathologists are readily accessible and happy to help.

The staff and pathologists at Eastern VetPath emulate a professionalism that is unparalleled. The turn-around time is rapid, and the reports are meticulous. The pathologists obviously read my history and physical exam findings and will call to discuss if needed prior to a final diagnosis. The accuracy of diagnosis is exceptional. The quality of the report (which often includes a representative photo) is one in which I am proud to send to my referring veterinarians. I feel that Dr. LeBlanc is an extension of my practice.

Dr. LeBlanc and Eastern VetPath have been a wonderful addition to our hospital. Their client service is amazing and their work is even better. The turnaround on results is faster than other companies we have used in the past and they are accurate, easy to read and contain pictures so you can see the abnormalities. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The collaborative relationship and availability of the pathologists at Eastern VetPath has significantly improved the level of care I am able to give to my patients. In veterinary oncology, there is so much to gain by having insightful conversations and discussions between the clinical oncologist and pathologist. Whenever I call to speak with one of the doctors at KDL, my questions are answered almost immediately and I rarely, if ever, need to wait on the telephone for someone to respond to me. It has been a pleasure to deal with this laboratory over the years, and I will continue to do so.

As an oncologist, I am very picky about who I trust with my pathology samples and I know how big of a difference a good clinical or anatomic pathologist can make. I have been extremely happy with the quality of service, diagnostic yield, communication, turnaround time, and value that I get from submissions to Eastern VetPath. In addition, the annotated images that accompany my reports from Dr. LeBlanc provide helpful context and allow me to continuously improve my own cytology skills.
– Ira Gordon, DVM, Dipl. ACVR-Radiation Oncology, The Oncology Service, Leesburg & Springfield, VA
It is a pleasure working with the pathologists at Eastern VetPath. The greatest benefit of working with them aside from their expertise is their availability. I am able to email or call to discuss results and am able to have an answer the same day almost every time. It makes my job easier because I can provide the answers to my clients and colleagues so that appropriate decisions can be made, while at the same time maintaining a high level of care.
